Why Use a Wellness Coach?
While personal trainers focus mostly on exercise, Wellness Coaching goes beyond personal training. Wellness Coaches look at the big picture, working with clients to develop health and fitness programs by looking at the obstacles that stand in the way of success. This is often more of a collaborative experience, with the coach encouraging the client to come up with his or her own goals and ideas.
A Wellness Coach offers advice and guidance about:
• Fitness
• Nutrition
• Weight management
• Stress reduction
• Health risk management
• Barriers to reaching fitness goals
As a Wellness Coach we will find out what it is the client needs help with such as weight loss, eating habits, exercise and fitness, stress reduction, smoking cessation, etc. We will help people manage conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes and you can even choose to work with special populations such as teens, kids, families, seniors, etc.
Where Will We Meet?
The majority of the time we will meet face to face. We would have to say the most common place that clients like to train is at their house or local area. We can bring everything we need to you so you can begin your sessions in the comfort of your own home. If your house is not suitable we can offer training outdoors, or in your local gym. As ever the location very much depends on what the clients individual goals are. On occasions we will work with you through Skype, telephone or email.
What Type of Training Do We Offer?
With the training we will work the body as a whole unit. With years of experience and coaching from the best trainers, I have selected those exercises that work. Intensity is a main factor when getting results. I will create a program for you that works, and will motivate you throughout each workout, to ensure you reach the required effort!! No matter what your goal, Fat Loss, increasing muscle tone, increasing cardiovascular fitness, or just to stay in shape generally, I can help you get the results you are after. You won’t believe how much better your will feel and look!!
The kinds of training we can offer varies dependent on a clients individual needs but as a rule we tend to use a blend of several different types of training to achieve the required goals. Some of these maybe non-contact boxing using pads and gloves, others might be outdoor activities such as running or circuits - we really do try and design the training around the individual though so we can accommodate pretty much anyone!
NOTE: I only work with people who are motivated to change!
